We will prepare our mind, body and souls with minor breathwork, a guided meditation and crystal sound bowl healing to ground your energy and lift your spirits! Please bring a comfortable blanket, pillow or mat so that you may be comfortable during this session. Presented by Nicole Dietz, guided imagery meditation and sound healing coach, and certified yoga practitioner.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: 

RESTORATIVE YOGA: Restorative Yoga is the practice of asanas, or poses, each held for longer than in conventional yoga as exercise classes, often with the support of props such as folded blankets and relax the body, reduce stress, and often to prepare for pranayama. 

YIN YOGA:  Yin Yoga,, called "a quiet contemplative practice", is a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles. advances practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more. Benefits of YIN YOGA: 

  • Calms and balances the mind and body
  • Reduces stress and anxiety
  • Improves flexibility
  • Releases fascia and improves joint mobility
  • Balances the internal organs and improves the flow 

GUIDED MINDFUL MEDITATION: meditation that is led by a teacher and guides you to relax specific muscles in the body until they are comfortable. and will then lead you through mental images and visualizations often of healing light of the dissipation of past wrongs, focusing on one main idea or feeling at a time. Meditation is a step-by-step process. Benefits of daily meditation and yoga practice is lower blood pressure, lessened anxiety, boosted mood, and increased self-awareness.
