Sound Healing/Vocal Transformation:  What is Sound Healing? Sound impacts us on an elemental level. In fact, research shows us that sounds consist of vibrations that affect us on a cellular level, impacting brain, nerve, muscle, and organ function. The healing power of sound whether using an instrument or our own bodies has been among us for thousands of years, before modern medicine, aiding us in a holistic way. It is commonly used today to ease anxiety, stress, depression, or heal physical ailments as well by releasing tension in muscles or nerves. Becoming a Sound Practitioner requires certification and experience with certain instruments to tailor to a person's needs. Nicole offers Private Sound Bath sessions, group sessions, and workshops throughout the month. Please contact Nicole so that she may set up your own personal session to suit your needs for your healing journey, or a vocal activation session.

Reiki Healing:

Reiki is a type of energy healing. According to practitioners, energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness. Energy medicine aims to help Trusted Source the flow of energy and remove blocks in the body.  Reiki practitioners believe that improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of physical or mental illness

Mikao Usui developed Usui Reiki Ryoho, the most current form of Reiki, in 1922. However, people have practiced Reiki for about 2,500 years.

People also refer to Reiki as palm healing or hands-on healing, but over the years other forms of specialized Reiki have evolved to improve the healing source. If you are interested in a group or private Reiki session, or even a Reiki and Sound Bath with Nicole, feel free to inquire.

Yin/Restorative Yoga: Yin Yoga is an ancient Chinese practice that is a grounded method, aside from traditional "yang" yoga practice, such as vinyasa or ashtanga approach. Yin takes a more "restorative" approach and targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe and connect your thoughts.

Guided Meditation and MBSR

Guided imagery or Mindfulness is a relaxation technique that involves visualizing a peaceful environment. This method plays a significant role in stress management by helping those focus their minds away from stressors and immerse themselves in a calming and tranquil mental image.

The immediate benefits of guided imagery for stress relief include reducing feelings of anxiety and tension, increasing a sense of calmness, and fostering a mental state conducive to relaxation. By engaging the senses in this vivid mental escapade, guided imagery assists in diverting attention from stress, promoting a peaceful and restful mental environment.

MBSR, or Mindfulness-based stress reduction is a group program that was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn to treat those struggling with life’s difficulties and physical and/or mental illness.

Although it was initially created to aid hospital patients, it has since been used effectively by a wide range of people from all walks of life. MBSR is a flexible and customizable approach to stress reduction. Instead of following a script, mindfulness is practiced in the manner that best suits the individual.  Nicole uses these techniques when working with clients who suffer from Anxiety, PTSD, addiction, or any developmental disabilities.
